Die Kuckucks plot

At the end of World War II, five children from a family who have lost their parents, led by the eldest child Inge Kuckert, travel through devastated Berlin to build a new life. No landlord wants to have the children in the house and try to discharge them again as soon as possible. Then the kids find a bombed-out villa and try to turn it into their dream home. Then an heir shows up who lays claim to the villa.
