Dezha Vyu plot
Johnny Pollack, a hit man, is ordered to kill Mick Nich. Mick Nich, a clandestine vodka distiller from Odessa, has become a threat to the Chicago bootleggers. But he has caught the attention of the people and he is becoming a valued member of the community. That way he is of course easy to find for Pollack. His only way out is to turn himself in to the police.
