Désiré plot
The butler Désiré is a real "womanizer". He goes to work for the former actress Odette, the mistress of the notorious politician Montignac. In the summer, the entire domestic staff moves to Deauville. Désiré amuses the staff there by telling extensively about his erotic dreams about Odette. What he doesn't know is that Odette has similar dreams about him, something Montignac cannot appreciate. Both Odette and Désiré start reading a book that explains erotic dreams. But the more they learn about this, the more uncomfortable they will feel in each other's company.
