Der Schräge Otto plot
Otto Schräge falls in love with Topsy Müller, a nice young thing who can dance very nicely. She has one fervent wish: to make a career with the revue. She thinks Otto is a nice guy, whom she takes for Herr Korty. Before Otto can explain to her who he really is, Topsy's father, who is the chef of Hotel Esplanade, puts an end to their affair and the first misunderstanding is thus born.
