I know it's just a movie but there's still one thing in it (this movie anyway) that really annoys me, and that's the concept of the narcissistic little princess that the whole universe seems to revolve around.

When she goes out, it seems that the only thing that matters is that she has a good time, he has to move heaven and earth to please her, whether he has a good time is usually of secondary importance, in any case it is considered so important that it is not reflected in the script at all, not even a hint is made of it in a single text line.

That concept is a very one-sided and quite childish view of dating as if the woman is a spoiled little child who has to be kept happy by her date and to be able to get her approval.

At the end she finally does something selfless, but by then the film is basically lost.

Again I know it's just a movie but I think the concept has some truth to it.

Cassandra [Meghan Markle] is convinced by her sister Nadia [Christine Chatelain] that she's attracted to the wrong men and that Dr. Susie's [Teryl Rothery] "Dater's Handbook" will help her choose the right one. She ends her relationship with narcissistic Peter [Matt Hamilton] and before she knows it, she's putting theory into practice with two attractive men. Robert [Kristoffer Polaha] is good with kids, has a golden retriever and a sense of humor; George is successful, gallant and reliable. Nadia and Cassandra's mother [Lynda Boyd] judge using the handbook. Lighthearted romantic comedy from the Hallmark assembly line is polished and predictable, but has a decent dose of humor that makes it not nearly as bad as it sounds on paper. Markle's last film before her marriage to Britain's Prince Harry.
