Das Schweigen der Männer plot

Polo Hofer is an optimistic fifties who, although plagued by a growing belly and other problems that come with age, nevertheless cheerfully bears the burden of being the national German-Swiss rock hero. Max Rüdlinger, once a journalist and today a moderately successful actor, is the skeptic of the two, the tortured intellectual, the 'Woody Allen of Wankdorf'. On their journey across the Swiss and Italian mountains to the pyramids in the desert of Assuan, the two are accompanied by their peers Klopfenstein. While improvising, they argue and chat about more and less heavy subjects
