Das Gespensterhaus plot

Rumor has it that an abandoned house on Junkerngasse, a street in the medieval center of Bern, has a ghost appearing every night at midnight. Young journalist Rico (Jakob Sulzer) wants to investigate the rumors and asks Jeannette (Blanche Aubrey), the niece of the deceased owner, to spend a night in the haunted house. When he actually sees a ghost at midnight and his article about it is placed in the newspaper, there is a commotion. But soon Rico begins to doubt his experience. Together with Jeannette, he tries to find out the truth.
