"A RED-HEADED WOMAN WAS THE CAUSE OF IT ALL!"

Businessman Hank Medhill returns to the US after a long business trip in Japan. When he returns home, he learns that his ex-girlfriend, the actress Eleanor Breen, is about to marry another man. He manages to prevent the wedding and marries Eleanor himself. Unfortunately, he soon finds out that he and Eleanor don't really fit together. Especially the showbiz friends and Eleanor's mother cause the necessary problems.
