Come Up Smiling plot

Pat is performing on her father Barney's show. Just when she can demonstrate her singing talent, her voice fails. A specialist tells her to undergo an expensive operation. Barney is not rich and decides to earn money by taking on a boxer nicknamed 'The Killer' in a boxing match.
