Arnab Ghosh works as editor-in-chief and newsreader for a news channel. During his work, he interviews different kinds of people, including politicians. Because the viewing figures are low, Arnab is transferred by his boss and asked to come up with an idea for a successful program. Arnab's wife comes up with the idea of interviewing D.. He is a feared crime boss.
