Cinq Millions Comptant plot

Virginia Gerbois would like her cousin Philemon to marry her daughter Arlette, but the latter confesses to Philemon that he loves someone else. However, he reveals a secret to her. They decide to pretend they are in love and move to Paris where Philemon hopes to win five million by participating in the radio broadcast Volubilis.
