After losing her job and being dumped by her boyfriend for going completely over the top during the holidays, Katrina Marks vows never to celebrate Christmas again and releases the anti-Christmas book Just Say No to Ho, Ho, Ho” out. But in December, Katrina can't resist the temptation and expresses her love for Christmas on the website 'Christmas Lovers Anonymous'. There she makes anonymous contact with Hunter, a man who wants to create a magical Christmas for his niece. However, both have a secret agenda: Katrina wants to hide her love for Christmas to protect her public image and Hunter is actually a journalist trying to prove that the author Katrina Marks is a fraud.
