Chô Kôsoku! Sankin Kôtai plot
During the reign of the eighth shogun of the Tokugawa shogunate, the Yunagaya domain is but a small splendor. There is, however, a gold mine on the territory. One day, daimyo Masaatsu Naito is ordered to perform Sankin-kotai within 5 days. To do this, the daimyo has to go to the shogun in Edo, which will take him at least eight days. Other officials prey on the gold mine and hope to get rid of the daimyo. He must therefore do the impossible within 5 days.
