Channel Chaos plot

A TV station that mainly broadcasts wacky, tacky programs and gets bad ratings loses the screenwriter of their own police series, Copfile. He is being killed. The cast of the series goes in search of the killer. They are followed by a camera crew from their own TV station, because this can make for good reality TV.
