Raoul and Félix, two men abandoned by their wives, comfort each other at the counter in a cafe. There they also meet a traveling salesman who proposes to them to become representatives of a grape plantation. They agree and take the road to Brittany. But things take a turn for the worse when they meet Elaine, a lavish Breton lady with a heart of gold.
