Since a young age, Emma Conroy has been eager to become a butler. She aspires to get a job on one of Europe's royal estates. For the training she obtains a place at the prestigious American Butler Academy. Although she has all the knowledge in her head and studies diligently, Emma finds herself failing time and again. One of her classmates, Henry Walker, has a natural aptitude for the job, but gives the impression that he doesn't even want to be there. The head of the butler academy, Mr. Willoughby, suggests that Emma and Henry team up so they can learn from each other and discover what they really want.
