Burisuta plot

Yuji and his friends are part of the Japanese 'otaku' subculture. Yuji himself is fascinated by American action figures when they are still in their original packaging, so-called 'blister packages'. His current life goal is to find the 'Hellbanker', an extremely rare figure whose existence is doubtful. In addition, a futuristic subplot takes place that at first glance seems to have nothing to do with the storyline. Are they somehow connected to each other?
