Broad Trip plot
The reserved Alice decides to plan a road trip with her wild and impulsive mother Jeanie to convince her not to marry a man she has just met. In doing so, they rediscover their unbreakable bond and confront old wounds and old loves. They learn the lesson that life sometimes doesn't go according to plan – and perhaps that is okay.
