Bright Eyes plot
The Pennypackers are a family of social climbers. Their daughter is about to get married, only to get ahead in the world. There is another potential marriage in their household. Their maid has received several proposals from the other servants. Everything changes when the slightly deviant Luke Larson enters their lives. He made his wealth from oil and is said to be the son of the now-deceased former business partner of the Pennypackers, whose dying wish was for his son and their daughter to marry.
