In the summer of 1990, Camp Kindlewood, for the first time in its 70th anniversary, is forced to become a mixed camp for both boys and girls. Roger, the camp director tries to convince both sides that this is a great idea in an effort to save the camp from closing. But after Dale and Amber have an awkward meeting, the gates are broken. Both Dale and Amber unite their sides in an effort to reclaim their camp.
