In a small Texas town, Sheriff Charlie Dexton is stunned by a mysterious murder at the local restaurant. More complications arise when Charlie's estranged brother, Sam, becomes the prime suspect in this mystery. Charlie's father, the former sheriff, advises his son on this case, but it's up to Charlie, haunted by his dark past, to apprehend the culprit and solve the case.
