"Power to the picked on!"
Eddie 'Gonzo' Gilman wants to write the truth in the school paper. But when he is kicked out of the editorial office by his editor and nemesis Gavin Riley, Gonzo vows revenge. He starts an underground newspaper, "The Gonzo Files," to express his views on the misfits victimized by Gavin and his friends. Gonzo assembles a staff with the shy Ming Na, the perpetually teased Schneeman, horny Rob (who targets the less attractive girls) and the mysterious Evie. 'The Gonzo Files' becomes a huge success and turns the whole school upside down. But the more successful Gonzo becomes, the more he learns that the truth has consequences.
