Better Living plot

Maryann, Elizabeth and Gail were raised by their eccentric mother Nora, largely without the presence of their father Tom, a police officer who left them fifteen years ago and never returned. Maryann is now an unstable wreck who cries all the time, Elizabeth is a lawyer who doesn't enjoy her job and Gail prefers to stay in the house with her stupid friend. However, they all interfere with their mother, who has decided to make a cave under her house with the danger of the house collapsing. And then suddenly Tom is on the sidewalk again...
