Batticuore plot
A poor pickpocket girl is hired by a politician to steal a foreign diplomat's watch. The politician hopes to be able to demonstrate that the diplomat is having an affair with his wife. However, things turn out differently than expected: the diplomat mistakes the thief for a baroness and falls hopelessly in love with her.
