Baccara plot

Elsa Barienzi has lived in Paris for several years. She is maintained by a wealthy Scandinavian financier, who engages in daring speculation. However, Elsa is of foreign origin and she learns that she will be expelled from the country. She seeks support from a famous lawyer, Maître Lebel, member of the Conseil de l'Ordre (Council of the Order). However, the man is in love with her.
