Tate and his Taiwanese boyfriend Danny have been together for a while and are eager to have a baby. Danny's mother in Taipei is firmly against this. The idea that her long-desired grandchild has to be brought into the world by a surrogate mother, that is inexplicable to her friends? She already finds it so difficult that he is gay. If the two are determined, she decides to take care of it herself. She flies to LA and looks for a suitable surrogate, while ignoring her son's relationship with Tate, because she actually prefers to see her boy with a Chinese girl and why not with that surrogate...
