Right on her birthday party, Maja's perfect family life comes crashing down. her husband cheats on her. Her life is turned upside down and a whole circle of friends is thrown together. When she throws her husband out, it sets off a chain reaction among befriended couples. Old and new wishes arise and six 'mid-forties' ask themselves what happiness means to them.
