An Almost Perfect Affair plot
"The Film of the Century."
The young filmmaker Hal has been busy for two years producing a film about an executed murderer, Choice of Ending. He puts all his money into a publicity trip to the Cannes film festival. However, the film is being held by French customs because the censor has to take a look at it first. However, the beautiful wife of an important Italian director, Maria, poses as his representative and this is the beginning of a short relationship.
