American Reject plot
"Sometimes losing is the only way to win."
Kay was recently rejected from America's most popular singing contest Pop Star Now. While grieving her public elimination, she is forced to participate in the network's "After The Cut" movie broadcast, and is sent to her hometown. She returns to her mother and the simple life she left behind. With nothing ahead of her and a cameraman following closely behind, she reacquaints herself with her past and finds herself in the town's annual Easter spectacle. And as it turns out, losing is her only way to win.
