Frederik, an unemployed editor and an aspiring recreational athlete, is in a deep midlife crisis. His marriage is shattered, his wife wants to let their rebellious teenage daughter move in with him to build her own career and after a catastrophic defeat, the future of his beloved hockey team is also very bad. He needs a new challenge! From a crazy idea a new passion grows for Frederik: synchronized swimming.
