Above the Clouds plot
When quirky Charlie discovers that her parents have kept her biological father a secret from her, she does what any 18-year-old would. She recruits a homeless man as her "responsible adult" and they leave for Scotland with her provisional driver's license to look for her father. Along the way, they both learn more than they expected, about themselves, each other, the importance of family and why (sometimes) there really is no place like home.
