A Perfect 36 plot
Mabel waits on the residents of a local boarding house, but her penchant for pranks ultimately leads to her dismissal. In a strange twist of fate, Mabel comes into possession of the suitcase of a traveling corset saleswoman, after which she takes up the profession herself. While traveling through a small town, Mabel decides to take a dip in the ocean, but while she is frolicking, her suitcase, which contains all of her clothes, is stolen. Forced to wear only her bathing suit, Mabel goes looking for her clothes and discovers that the police, who have identified the suitcase as belonging to a jewel thief, are looking for her.
