The Star Maker plot
"THE STARS OF TOMORROW TELLING THE STORY OF THE STAR OF YESTERDAY"
The penniless songwriter Larry Earl is sure that one day he will make it in the show world. But before that happens, he will have to content himself with meaningless jobs, especially when he proposes to his girlfriend Mary. On his way to yet another new job, he accidentally meets a number of newspaper boys who perform a fun dance act on the street. This gives him a brilliant idea that will become an unprecedented success in the world of vaudeville theater.
