Quezon plot
"I am the Philippines."
The Philippines, 1935. The country is preparing for independence after American rule. Manuel "Casey" Quezon has been elected president thanks to a shrewd campaign, a compliant media, and a series of propaganda films. Disillusioned with this Machiavellian figure he once supported, journalist Joven watches alternative versions of the propaganda films secretly collected by Nadia, his filmmaker daughter, which cast the beloved president in a different light.
