Padu plot

“Padu” is a film about how Malaysian women’s team won the most number of gold medals in SEA Championship. This story highlights the life of the players and also shows their hardships. The film starts with Malaysian women’s basketball team losing in SEA and it was mainly due to Izzati’s missed shot. If she had placed it well, the team might have gone home with gold and not bronze. But the question that remains is that even if Izzati had placed the shot well, couldn’t there have been other reasons for losing the match?
