Answer, The plot

The True Story of American James Donald Walters (1926). The film portrays his youthful search for truth. This takes him from his birthplace in Romania to Hollywood (1948), where he meets the great Indian master Paramhansa Yogananda, author of 'Autobiography of a Yogi' and is accepted by him as a disciple.
