Une Excursion Incohérente plot
On a beautiful winter morning, an aristocratic couple from the city and their servants decide to have a picnic in the great outdoors to enjoy the great outdoors. But to their surprise, everything suddenly seems to go wrong. When they open their carefully prepared lunch, all kinds of worms are crawling inside. The disgusting little critters and the vagaries of nature strike at the same time. Next time, the couple might want to think twice before having another picnic in nature.

From the pioneering days of cinema, this funny film, with baroque sets and ditto characters.
The first part is quite original and comical, the second part, with ghost, mystery and horror allure, reminded me of Buster at times (the dive through the window, the cistern...). How much more bad luck can you have? L'argent ne fait pas toujours le bonheur.
