Rotkind plot

"After his authoritarian mother's sudden death, it is finally time for the taciturn 60-something Harold to find his own voice in this short animation."

Harold, in his sixties, still lives with his elderly mother Hendrina. It is not pleasant: the sour mother puts her passion for vases above the love for her son and is full of reproaches. As a result, Harold has come to believe that he is dependent on her and cannot make autonomous decisions. But then he hears a counter-sound through the wall: the neighbour's rebellious, unruly teenage son. That arouses the desire in the quiet Harold to make himself heard. Shortly afterwards, his mother dies. What does that do for Harold?
