Quelque Chose de Divin plot

In 1939, a young Romanian woman meets a soldier. They fall in love, but the man is called to the front. They continue to write passionate letters until the young woman has to move and they lose sight of each other for good. All this time, she cannot forget him; will they ever meet again? In an interview, the 91-year-old woman tells her moving story to her grandson and co-director Bogdan Stamatin. Her words are complemented by oil-painted animations by director and animator Mélody Boulissière and archive images, taken from the archive of Romanian photographer Costică Acsinte, rediscovered in 2013.
