Kaghaz-Pareh Ha plot

A portrait of homeless Iranian women who were picked off the streets in Tehran and disappeared in detention centers without trial or prospect of release. Their candid stories are depicted using stop-motion animation. Director Nalbandi managed to gain entry to a prison outside the official channels and recorded the extremely harrowing stories of the inmates with an audio recorder.
