Julián plot

In New York, a boy named Julián spends the summer with his grandmother. She tells him colorful stories that awaken something inside him. He reflects on himself and the person he wants to be. He dreams of being a mermaid, for example. With his grandmother's help, Julián explores his identity, his gender expression, and his family's legacy.
