E6-D7 plot

A robot operates in a hospital. His only job makes him happy. Still, he learns to communicate and play chess with a nurse, but no one can really challenge him mentally. Until he meets a woman who knows how to beat him, after all she is his successor. Their mutual love is absolute, but the robot will have to learn to accept that his days are numbered. Everyone forgets him, except the woman.

A strange short animation. Although it is barely 16 minutes long, it is still quite long-winded because it is a bit too slow and repetitive. Not 100% clear to me either. The robot is more than a surgeon and the robot is more than mechanics, because he experiences feelings and thoughts. He has a hard time dealing with them.

Quite stylish and nicely done with those drawings, but all in all a bit too empty to really grab me.
