Dobrý Voják Svejk plot

Švejk is drafted into the Austro-Hungarian army before the war against the Russians. He takes the orders of his superiors very literally and carries them to the absurd. For example, his lieutenant orders him to buy a bottle of cognac as discreetly as possible. And he takes that very seriously.
