"Every era has a hero"
Evil has always been present during the evolution of mankind and the Dashavatar has been constantly present to overcome evil. The four great golden ages in Hinduism are Satya Yug, Treta Yug Yug Dwapar and Kaliyuga. Satya Yug, the Age of Truth, will last four thousand years, Treta Yug three thousand, Yug Dwapara two thousand and Kaliyuga a thousand years. It is believed that three of these periods have passed, and we are now in the fourth. This film focuses on the ten incarnations of Lord Vishnu as seen through the eyes of two children. They are a fish, a turtle, a pig, a man who is half man and half lion, a dwarf, a warrior with an axe, two princes, a philosophical shepherd and a monk.
