Battledream Chronicle plot

"Join the revolt"

In 2100 virtually every country on Earth was colonized by the kingdom of Mortemonde. Local residents are turned into cyber-slaves and forced to earn 1000 XP per month in Battledream, a virtual world where people fight to the death. Syanna Meridian, a slave in Martinique, finds a hidden weapon during one of her matches in Batteldream. The weapon turns out to be so powerful that it allows her to kill Mortemonde's soldiers. She flees with her best friend to Sablerêve, an island that has not yet been colonized, to make one last attempt to revolt against Mortemonde.
