Under Two Flags plot
"From the Immortal Novel by Ouida"
Fleeing punishment for a crime committed by his brother, Bertie Cecil joins the French Foreign Legion. In Algeria, he becomes the hated rival of his commander, Chateauroy, who despises Victor's origins and is also competing for the same woman. Victor is the lover of Cigarette, an Algerian camp follower, who saves his life, even though he loves another.
