The Dynamiter plot

All 14-year-old Robbie Hendrick ever wanted was a family. However, as summer begins in Mississippi, his wayward mother runs away again fearing a breakdown. Robbie stays behind to take care of his half-brother Fess. As the days and nights pass without her returning, and with his dangerous older brother Lucas nearby, Robbie has to come to terms with the fact that his dream of one family will remain just a dream.
