Rocambole plot
Rocambole, aka Count Chamery is a gentleman but also a thief. His sworn enemy is the Prussian baron Keller, a weapons manufacturer who is not only bellicose but also a rival in his love for Cleo, a celebrated ballerina of the Opéra. When Rocambole saves the life of the French President of the Republic, the police, who were about to arrest him, choose to announce his death and give the rescuer's general praise to Count Chamery. Can Rocambole still beat Keller?
