New Moon plot
"Songs! THRILLS! Romance!"
Marianne de Beaumaniour is on her way from Paris to New Orleans, Louisiana, in the eighteenth century, to inspect the plantation she inherited from her uncle. Detainees also travel on her ship, who are sold for slavery. Charles Duc de Villiers, a political enemy of the King, is also on board, posing as a detainee. Charles is bought by Marianne's plantation manager and she is soon impressed by his charms. Marianne discovers Charles's true identity and releases him before the French officers find him. Marianne decides to sail back to Paris with the 'New Moon'. A stopover is made in Martinique, where the ship is hijacked by pirates. Marianne is very shocked when the pirate leader turns out to be Charles. That night a violent storm breaks, and the 'New Moon' is in big trouble.
