The film follows the story of a white stray puppy with a pink nose living on the sidewalk of a supermarket. One day, Hiro, a Japanese automotive engineer nearing retirement, unexpectedly takes him in and names him Gohan. However, their time together is abruptly ended when Hiro dies of COVID-19. As a young dog, Gohan is later captured and taken to a shelter run by Goong, who uses the shelter as a cover to exploit stray dogs for profit. She releases Namcha, an undocumented migrant worker from Myanmar, after saving enough money to flee. Gohan and Namcha travel together to Bangkok, but Namcha is arrested and sent back to Myanmar. Gohan lives as a stray dog again at a train station, where he meets the young student couple Pelé and Jaidee. They visit him often during their four years at university.

Het leven van een husky is opgedeeld in drie fases. Als puppy vindt hij onderdak bij een 60-plusser [Kitachima Yasushi] die verbitterd is, omdat hij na 35 trouwe dienst bij een autofabrikant is ontslagen. Als beginnend volwassene krijgt hij gezelschap van een illegale immigrant [Poe Namhe Thar] op de vlucht voor de autoriteiten. Zijn laatste periode brengt hij door bij een student [Jaonaay Jinjett Wattanasin] die hem gebruikt om zijn ex-vriendin [Tu Tontawan Tantivejakul] terug te winnen. Overdreven acteerwerk in overvloed en manipulatief tot op het bot (met een zeer aanwezige tranentreksoundtrack). Vooral jeugdige kijkers vinden Gohan vast onweerstaanbaar schattig; voor anderen is dit eerder een sentimentele draak.
